Interactive Audio-visual art forms

1. Extending projection mapping by interaction

Expanding the topic of the first part "Audiovusuelle Gestaltung", a combination of tracking, interaction and procetion mapping is thinkable. In this older example though, the effects are achieved by automating the movement of the robots and prerendering the the according movement of the visual mappings:

2. The interface and its visual presence

3. The instrument itself being audio-visual

Reactable (Martin Kaltenbrunner et al.)

4. The physical world presents itself as visual to humans

AV-Interaction doesn't necessarily mean to include video projections. The visual side can also stem from physical objects that are perceived and/or manipulated. (there is the opinion that most musical performances are audiovisual after all)

5. Traditional musical instruments as interfaces for audio-visual performance

6. Immersive interactive systems
